Multi-client capability

What does Multi-client capability?

Under Multi-client capability is understood as a special data processing method that is based on the same Server or the simultaneous administration of different clients (e.g. employees, customers) by one user in the same software. The individual data records belonging to different clients must be processed separately so that, for example, the Deletion of one client does not affect the data of another. The implementation of this principle ultimately corresponds to the requirements set out in Art. 32 GDPR required TOM and, in particular, the guarantee required by Section 64 (3) No. 14 BDSG that data collected for different purposes is personal data can be processed separately (separability). This is why, for example, all specialist software for lawyers or tax consultants is client-capable, as are many data protection management tools.
