Trojan

What does Trojan?

Trojan horses or short: Trojan owe their name to the legend of Odysseus' wooden horse, in whose belly Greek soldiers are said to have hidden during the war for Troy. Trojan programs use a similar trick by disguising themselves or their intentions as a useful or at least harmless program, thus deceiving users about their true intentions. This is because they carry out their actual function in the background, unnoticed by the user, e.g. secretly reading or copying the user's data, damaging the system or even encrypting it. Another common variant is the so-called Ransomware.

Practical example

One company uses Trojan to personal data through Technical and organizational measures from unauthorized access.
