What does Transfer Impact Assessment?

A data transfer impact assessment (English: transfer impact assessment) must always be carried out if a Transmission of personal data to insecure third countries. In the context of the use of the Standard contractual clauses a data transfer impact assessment is also a prerequisite.

Practical example

Before the Transmission personal data to a country without an adequate level of protection, the company carries out a Transfer Impact Assessment and assesses the legal framework in the target country.
