Representative (EU representative)
What does Representative (EU representative)?
The representative pursuant to Art. 4 No. 17 GDPR is a natural or legal person established in the EU who has been authorized in writing by the controller or processor in accordance with Art. 27 GDPR. GDPR appointed and to whom they have been appointed with regard to the GDPR represents the duties incumbent upon him. Practical example
If a company commissions an external service provider with data processing, this service provider is referred to as the Representative (EU representative) and a corresponding contract is concluded.
