What does Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is a web analysis software, similar to Matomo (formerly Piwik) or Etracker, for example. It can be used to log and analyze access to websites. It collects a wide range of data (e.g. pages accessed, the origin of visitors, the time they spend on the site or search terms used) and processes it for analysis purposes.

Practical example

Within the scope of Google Analytics uses a company personal data for targeted advertising measures and obtains the necessary consent in advance.
