IP address

What does IP address?

Every device that is integrated into a network or has access to the internet is assigned an individual "address" so that it is clearly identifiable and can be reached without any problems. This is achieved using IP addresses, which are a combination of numbers and letters (e.g. "192.168.12.171"). Only with the help of IP addresses can information be exchanged or accessed via the Internet. Server can be accessed. Without IP addresses, it would therefore be impossible to send e-mails, visit websites or use offers in the Cloud not possible, nor is the realization of the Internet of Things.

Practical example

Within the scope of IP address uses a company personal data for targeted advertising measures and obtains the necessary consent in advance.
