Smishing

What does Smishing?

Smishing is a variant of Phishingin which the smartphone is used as an attack platform, i.e. a text message (e.g. SMS) with fraudulent content is sent. The aim of such an action is, just as with PhishingThe victim is induced to enter secret information such as a PIN, a TAN or a password.

Practical example

One company uses Smishing to personal data through Technical and organizational measures from unauthorized access.
