What does Data protection conference?

The Data protection conference (DSK) is a body of independent German data protection supervisory authorities at federal and state level. The DSK has the task of safeguarding and protecting fundamental data protection rights, achieving uniform application of European and national data protection law and jointly advocating its further development. This is achieved in particular through resolutions and decisions, Orientation aids, standardizations, statements, press releases and specifications, which can be accessed via the DSK website.

The Data protection conference monitors compliance with data protection and can impose fines or order measures in the event of violations.
