Data Access Control

What does Data Access Control?

Under Data Access Control is understood to mean measures that ensure that the persons authorized to use a data processing system can only access the data subject to their access authorization and that personal data at the Processingcannot be read, copied, modified or removed without authorization (Annex to Section 9 sentence 1 BDSG-old; TOM). According to this requirement, a physical or logical separation of the different data must therefore be carried out.

Practical example

One company uses Data Access Control to personal data through Technical and organizational measures from unauthorized access.
