Transfer control
What does Transfer control?
Under Transfer control refers to measures that ensure that personal data during electronic transmission or while being transported or stored on data carriers, they cannot be read, copied, altered, or removed without authorization, and that it is possible to verify and determine to which locations a Transmission of personal data by facilities for the Data Transmission is provided for (Appendix to Section 9, sentence 1, of the old BDSG).
Practical example
One company uses Transfer control to personal data through Technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access.
