What does the right to be forgotten mean?

In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, data subjects have the right to be forgotten. This is mirrored by an obligation to erase personal data at the request of the data subject. This right must be fulfilled, for example, if consent is withdrawn, an objection is made to processing or the data is no longer required for the original purpose.
