Right to be forgotten

What does Right to be forgotten?

In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR affected persons have the Right to be forgotten to. This results in a mirror image obligation to Deletion of personal data at the request of the data subject. This requirement is to be fulfilled, for example, if a granted Consent is revoked, a Contradiction against a Processing or the data is no longer required for the original purpose.

Practical example

One affected Person makes use of their Right to be forgotten and contacts the person responsible, who will take the appropriate steps.
