Encryption

What does Encryption?

Encryption describes the process of changing information in such a way that it is no longer available in plain text and therefore cannot be used without the appropriate key. Decryption can be deciphered. For example, files, e-mails, but also data transfers (e.g. using SSL/TLS certificate) and thus protected against access by unauthorized persons. Third be protected.

Practical example

One company uses Encryption to personal data through Technical and organizational measures from unauthorized access.
