Personnel file

What does Personnel file?

In the Personnel file All analog or digital documents that the employer keeps about an employee and that contain information about the employee and the employment relationship in the company are stored in a personnel file. The HR department is generally responsible for keeping personnel files. Form and content of the Personnel file are not prescribed by law, with the exception of civil service or military service law. The BBG and its equivalents under state civil service law contain regulations on the Personnel file of civil servants (e.g. §§ 106 ff. BBG).
