Order control

What does Order control?

Under Order control refers to measures that ensure that personal data, which are processed on behalf of the client, may only be processed in accordance with the client’s instructions (Appendix to Section 9, Sentence 1 of the former BDSG).

Practical example

If a company commissions an external service provider with data processing, this service provider is referred to as the Order control The work is carried out, and a corresponding contract is signed.
