Emergency management

What does Emergency management?

The term "Emergency management" describes the handling of potentially harmful situations, primarily in relation to the personal data processed by the controller and their appropriate level of security. An emergency is an event with a certain potential for damage as a result of which processes or resources no longer function as intended. The Emergency management serves to prepare for such incidents and the associated possible downtime, to react appropriately to them and to recover from them as quickly as possible. The Incident Management is an important component here, as is the existence of emergency plans for various damage scenarios (e.g. server failure, Data breach or similar).

Practical example

One company uses Emergency management to personal data through Technical and organizational measures from unauthorized access.
