Deletion concept

What does Deletion concept?

In accordance with Art. 5 para. 1 lit. E) GDPR must personal data are stored in a form which permits the identification of data subjects only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. In practice, this means that for each Processing and for each category of data, any retention obligations or rights, the corresponding Legal basis as well as a deletion time must be defined. Such a Deletion concept serves not only to fulfill the principle of storage limitation, but ultimately also to ensure accountability.

Practical example

Personal data are recognized in accordance with the statutory Deletion concept and duly deleted after expiry of the deadline.
