Back-up concept

What does Back-up concept?

The term "backup" refers to the process of creating one or more copies of data for the purpose of restoring it in the event of data loss. To this end, it makes sense to develop a backup strategy that addresses which data should be backed up, using which method, on which medium, and for how long; where the backup medium should be stored; and how often the backup should be performed. Such a strategy serves to implement the requirements for the Availability of data, as well as to fulfill our accountability obligations under data protection law (Accountability).
