Tracking

What does Tracking?

Tracking (German: Spurenbildung, Nachverfolgung) is used on the Internet to create logs about the usage behavior of website visitors. For this purpose, for example, certain identifiers or other personal data in Cookies or similar in order to identify and track the user concerned. In this way, the user can also be recognized when they visit other websites. Tracking in this sense can also be carried out, for example, via GPS or other techniques.

Practical example

Within the scope of Tracking uses a company personal data for targeted advertising measures and obtains the necessary consent in advance.
