Whitelisting

What does Whitelisting?

The term "Whitelisting" refers to a process, primarily in the IT sector, that poses a threat to other systems and/or data. Networks are to be averted. Using this method, everything is initially blocked and only those procedures/applications that are on the list and therefore classified as secure are permitted.

Practical example

In day-to-day business Whitelisting important role, for example when it comes to protection and legally compliant Processing of personal data.
