Your responsibilities as a Junior Data Protection Consultant

As a Junior Data Protection Consultant, you will support our clients in all matters relating to GDPR, digital rights, Compliance, AI regulation, and information security. From the very beginning, you’ll work closely with lawyers, computer scientists, and consultants, and will be gradually introduced to managing client accounts independently. At the same time, you’ll utilize our data protection and Compliance- the Ailance™ platform (RoPA & AI Governance) and contribute to the further development of modern, AI-supported data protection and Compliance-Processes involving

You advise our clients on data protection, digital law, Compliance, AI regulation, and information security.

You maintain and further develop processing inventories (VVT) using Ailance™ RoPA.

You review and provide feedback on data processing agreements (DPA).

You process inquiries from affected persons (e.g., requests for information, Deletion, Contradiction).

You will assess data protection incidents and provide advice on reporting data breaches to regulatory authorities.

You will create and maintain data protection policies, process descriptions, privacy statements, TOMs, and more Compliance-Documents.

You will help establish and further develop data protection and Compliance-Organizations among our clients.

You will conduct data protection audits remotely and on-site (throughout Europe or worldwide).

Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments (FRIA) for AI Projects

You'll gradually take on your own clients—starting with smaller ones and working your way up to more complex, long-term client relationships.

You'll help further develop our Ailance™ platform by:

uses the RoPA and AI Governance modules,
Identify use cases for automation,
provide practical data for further development,
Test new features and provide feedback to the product and AI team.

What you bring to the role of Junior Data Protection Consultant

You don't have to be a senior expert just yet—what's more important is that you have a passion for the field, analytical thinking skills, and a desire to take on responsibility.

A college degree (e.g., in law, business law, business administration, computer science) or initial practical experience in data protection/Compliance-Environment

interest in GDPR, digital law, Compliance, AI regulation and information security

A basic understanding of technology and enthusiasm for digital tools, automation, and AI

Analytical thinking skills and a passion for organizing complex issues

Organizational skills and initial experience in project or process management

Strong communication skills in German and English, as well as the ability to work well with others

A proactive, meticulous approach to work and a willingness to take on responsibility

Enjoy learning from a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, computer scientists, and experienced consultants
