What does personnel file mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The personnel file contains all documents, analog or digital, which the employer keeps about an employee and which contain information about the employee and the employment relationship in the company. The HR department is generally responsible for keeping personnel files. The form and content of personnel files are not prescribed by law, with the exception of civil service and military law. The BBG and its state civil service equivalents contain regulations on civil servants' personnel files (e.g. \u00a7\u00a7 106 ff. BBG).<\/p>\n
