Obligation to report (data breach)<\/h1>\n

What does mandatory reporting (data breach) mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the event of a personal data breach (data breach), the controller shall notify the competent supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, if the personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons (Art. 33 (1) GDPR).<\/p>\n
