These include the following:<\/p>\n<p>- Lawfulness, good faith, transparency (Art. 5 (1) (A) GDPR)<\/p>\n<p>- Purpose limitation (Art. 5 para. 1 lit. B) GDPR)<\/p>\n<p>- Data minimization (Art. 5 para. 1 lit. C) GDPR)<\/p>\n<p>- Correctness (Art. 5 para. 1 lit. D) GDPR)<\/p>\n<p>- Storage limitation (Art. 5 para. 1 lit. E) GDPR)<\/p>\n<p>- Integrity and confidentiality (Art. 5 (1) (F) GDPR)<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Art. 5 para. 2 GDPR provides for accountability. In practice, this means that data controllers must be able to prove in case of doubt that they are acting in compliance with data protection regulations and, in particular, that they are complying with the principles set out in Art. 5 para. 1 GDPR.<\/p>\n<h2>Practical example<\/h2>\n<p>When processing data, the company observes the principles of the GDPR by only collecting necessary data and providing transparent information about its use.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Art. 5 para. 1 GDPR contains the central principles of data protection law.
