What does adequacy decision mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The European Commission has the option of examining a non-EU or non-EEA country (so-called -> third country) or an international organization to determine whether a level of data protection comparable to the European legal situation exists there (Art. 45 GDPR). The national legislation of the country, its supervisory authorities and the international obligations it has entered into are taken into account.<\/p>\n

Practical example<\/h2>\n
