How easy it is to create a hardware asset in ITAsMa
You can create a hardware asset either via the "New item" menu or via the overview of hardware assets. Both methods lead to the creation of a hardware asset - only the first steps vary. Choose your preferred method.
To create a hardware asset via the "New item" menu, proceed as follows:
- Open the "New Item" menu: In the left sidebar, click on + NEW.
- In the menu, select the Hardware resource option (Hardware asset) from.
- Enter the required data for the hardware resource (Hardware asset).
- Click on Create (Create).
- Skip the recommended fields if necessary: In the empty dialog box, click Save and continue (Save and proceed).
- Enter further details on the hardware resources.
- Click on "Save" (Save).
Proceed as follows to create a hardware asset from the overview of hardware assets:
- Open the overview of hardware assets: In the left sidebar, click on HARDWARE.
- At the top of the list of hardware assets, click + Add (+ Add).
- Enter the required data for the hardware asset.
- Click on Create (Create).
- Skip the recommended fields if necessary: In the empty dialog box, click Save and continue (Save and proceed).
- Enter further details on the hardware resources.
- Click on "Save" (Save).
